Photo and Art Resources to Support Black Lives Matter

As a collective, we are a diverse group of people brought together by our love of photography.  Through our photography exhibitions and events, we have shared experiences and ideas and learned from those around us. The actions in Philadelphia and across the country condemning police brutality and racial inequality have prompted us to reflect on our past, present, and future-- how we must do better to amplify under-represented voices within our photographic community.

In congruence with our mission, we encourage our photo community to engage with resources we have compiled in support of Black voices in the arts at https://www.gravy-studio.com/blm. In addition, Gravy member Katie Tackman has collaborated with artists Alex Eckman Lawn and Kate Glasheen on Black Lives Matter poster designs. No-cost downloads of these are available on our website and we encourage you to join us in printing and posting.

Grab these images, print them out, exercise solidarity even

(and especially) on the days when you’re not screaming it.
