Sahar Coston-Hardy is a Philadelphia born photographer, whose work primarily revolves around themes of race/cultural identity and the urban environment. She is interested in highlighting identity through the places and people she photographs and hopes that the images reveal an authenticity to the personal connection she has with her subjects. Since receiving her BFA from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art in 2005, she has established a resume that includes exhibitions and publications in both art and corporate mediums.

In photographing urban design, Sahar aims to illustrate the range of feelings that people experience when they engage in public spaces, by capturing moments that tell a unique and honest story.
